Glucides Hero (the "app"), published by Kevin Chapoulie (the "publisher"), is an educational game that helps you learn to estimate the carbohydrate content of meals. By installing or using the app, you accept these terms.
The app is an educational tool. It is not a medical device, provides no medical advice, computes no insulin doses, and in no way replaces your doctor, your diabetes care team, or any healthcare professional. Carbohydrate estimates (including those produced by the AI analysis) are educational approximations that may be inaccurate: never base a therapeutic decision on these values alone.
You remain solely responsible for your health decisions, made with your care team and in accordance with your personal protocol. When in doubt, always refer to the official nutrition information of products and to your caregivers' advice.
The Premium subscription (comfort and AI features) is offered, billed and managed by Apple's App Store, under Apple's terms. Renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled in your Apple account settings. Essential health features (nutrition data, scanning, pantry) remain free.
The app is provided "as is". The publisher strives to keep it working but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability (notably of third-party services: AI analysis, the Open Food Facts database). Features may evolve with updates.
The app, its mascot, graphics and content are the property of the publisher. Nutrition data from Open Food Facts is available under an open licence; the brands mentioned belong to their respective owners.
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for damages resulting from the use of the app, in particular health decisions made on the basis of its estimates, contrary to the warning in §2.
